ரசப்பொடி/ Rasam powder

Toor dal
Ingredients:
Whole black peppers - 1 cup
Toor Dal - 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds - 1/2 cup
coriander seeds - 1/2 cup

Method:
Slightly heat all the ingredients without adding oil in a fry pan and grind the above ingredients into a nice powder.

    Thanks for your comments.Rasam powder is used to make rasam(Its like soup).I will post the receipe for rasam.

    The Toor Dal is called as split pigeon peas in english.It is a type of pulse and is very much used in Indian cooking.Will try to post the picture of the same in the receipe.You can get this in any Indian Grocery store.
